I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
